Professor Dr. Tariq Mahmood is a U.S. board-certified Cardiologist and Internist with more than forty years of clinical experience. He trained and worked at major medical centers in the United States, and later returned to Pakistan, where he served as Head of Cardiology at King Edward Medical University, Lahore. His training includes Internal Medicine residency at Highland Hospital, New York, cardiology fellowships at DC General Hospital and the Washington Hospital Center, and faculty appointment at Georgetown University School of Medicine.
